11th-15th November 2019 – Our theme this year was“Exploring the beauty of language”.All the children from Grade 1 to 6 had a fantastic language week. The aim of this event in school was to raise awareness of the benefits of language and highlight the linguistic diversity in our community. Language learning is an essential skill for life in the 21st century.
Language learning helps us to broaden personal, social, cultural and employment opportunities. Academic staff organised a wide range of activities for our children throughout the week such as spelling bees, story telling, colouring competition, handwriting competition, quizzes, poem writing competition, etc. The children loved taking part in these activities that no doubt had helped improve their language skills!
